Dr. Ashworth has taken the original manuscript for the use of HCG, and used it in combination with his proven medical weight loss programs, that have made his clinic the place to go for rapid, safe weight loss.  The calorie count is usually around 850 calories per day, and uses the medical shakes in combination with a healthy meal that fits very well within the parameters of the original program.

The key has always been to make sure the weight is lost in those stubborn areas such as the hips, abdominals, and thighs.  Doing this the "Ashworth Weigh" allows you the opportunity to enjoy weight loss that is directed towards those stubborn areas, yet sparing lean muscle so that you do not decrease your metabolic rate and subsequently gain the weight back.  We do not use a generic substitute for HCG, because as a physician Dr. Ashworth is able to secure the actual hormone!  

Eventhough the Thermo-HCG Max Program has been integrated into Dr. Ashworth's medical weight loss protocols, the classic HCG program where there is 6 weeks of injections (with one day off each week) and a 2 week taper remains the main component.  Therefore there is no reason to worry that you will not get the same results you have seen or read about.  As with everything else Dr. Ashworth does the entire HCG program is written out for each patient in painstaking detail. From the 1st through the 4th phase, all aspects of timing of injections through the transition off of the HCG is written out so there is no guess work.
